Safety

At PCM, safety is paramount to the successful execution of all projects. Regular safety training is provided to all employees to ensure their safety and the safety of others. As a result, PCM has enjoyed an extremely low incident level for the last several years. PCM’s corporate safety officer, who implements and enforces the safety procedures, is a United States Department of Labor board certified 500 instructor to the construction industry. He is assisted in his effort by the general superintendent.

Quality Assurance

Steve Williamson heads this department and is a member of ASQ, the American Society for Quality. He provides routine safety inspections and performs quality control inspections at critical points in the project schedule.

Greg Danver, general field superintendent, inspects the work of all trade contractors continually throughout the project for defects and deficiencies. The trade contractor’s safety program is reviewed for compliance with the PCM Loss Prevention and Safety Policy. The project superintendent recommends corrective action and enforces compliance with the construction documents.
